Essential Tools for AFK Farming

To kickstart your AFK gem farming journey, you'll need a reliable macro tool. We recommend using 'Informal Task,' a free and robust option. While 'Tiny Task' is also free, it tends to be less stable. Download either of these tools to automate your in-game actions.

These tools allow you to record and replay mouse movements and clicks, enabling you to automate repetitive farming tasks while you're away from your computer.

Optimal Game Mode for Gems

For maximum gem yield, focus your efforts on the Story Mode. Specifically, the 'Ninja Forest - Act 1: Greedy Treasurer' stage is highlighted as the easiest and most consistent for farming.

While 'Legend Mode' can offer unique items, 'Story Mode' on Easy difficulty, combined with difficulty modifiers, is superior for purely collecting gems. The base gem rewards remain consistent across stages and difficulties, meaning you can earn the same amount by playing on an easier setting, as long as you adjust the difficulty meter.

Maximizing Gem Rewards with Difficulty Meter

The key to getting more gems is leveraging the 'Difficulty Meter' in Story Mode. By increasing this slider, you significantly multiply your gem earnings. For instance, a 300% difficulty will yield 144 gems, while pushing it to 1000% can net you 228 gems.

Be warned, though: higher difficulties demand stronger units. Tailor the difficulty to what your current unit lineup can comfortably handle to ensure successful runs.

Setting Up Your AFK Macro (Informal Task)

Once you've selected your stage (Ninja Forest, Act 1 on Easy) and adjusted your difficulty (e.g., 300%), it's time to set up the macro. First, you must complete the chosen stage manually at least once. After that, activate 'Informal Task' and press 'Control+R' to start recording.

Follow these steps precisely for a successful macro: Claim Rewards (click 5-10 times), Replay Stage, Skip Vote, Place Farmer, Activate Speed (1.5x), and Place & Upgrade Attackers. **CRITICAL RULE**: During the entire recording process, **DO NOT MOVE YOUR CAMERA**. Only use your mouse cursor to click and interact.

Stopping and Looping Your Macro

After your units successfully clear the stage again, and the reward screen appears, immediately press 'Control+R' to stop the macro recording. Then, press 'Control+L' to enable continuous looping of your recorded actions.

This will allow the game to automatically play through the stage repeatedly, farming gems while you're away. Make sure your computer stays on and the game remains active for optimal results.

Leveraging Additional Gem Sources

Beyond AFK farming stages, don't forget to claim rewards from other in-game features. The 'Level Milestones' can provide a substantial amount of gems, with rewards available up to Level 100 (totaling 7,000 gems).

Similarly, the 'Battlepass' also offers gem rewards as you progress through its tiers. While these are not infinitely farmable, they provide a significant boost to your gem count, especially early on. Once these one-time rewards are exhausted, your primary method for gem acquisition will be the AFK macro.
